Wedding Information
Weddings and engagements are some of the most important times and memories of our lives. Because of this I refuse to say “Here are my prices and packages, take ‘em or leave ‘em.”. What I love to do is to sit down with you and get to know you while we create a tailored package that ensures every detail and memory is captured together! However, I know that you’ll have questions regarding what is usually included, or what a typical package consists of, so below I’ve listed a few things that I include with all of my packages. If you have any questions lets get together offer a hot cup of coffee or tea and discuss the details while we get to know each other!
All Full Rez Digital Files and Print Rights
Most photographers will charge you extra for certain images, or will give you your images while maintaining the “print rights” to them and charge you any time you want to print an image. They may not even give you the full resolution images! I am fully against this idea, which is why you will receive from me all full resolution, unwatermarked, digital files along with a signed document giving you complete rights to do with these files as you please. That includes printing, editing, selling, sharing or anything else you can think of!
Full Day Coverage
Most photographers will only offer all day coverage with their “premium” packages, or they say one thing and mean another. They will say they include “*All Day Coverage!” but you see that little * there, that usually means they are only there for 8, maybe 10 hours if you’re lucky. But what happens if something goes wrong (which usually does), or somebody is running late (which will probably happen)? Well if your photographer is only there for 8 hours, then you’ll have to sacrifice some of your memories to work around their schedule. That’s not how it should be. I want to make sure we work together to capture every memory possible for you to cherish and share for decades to come. This is why when I say “Full Day Coverage” I mean it! I will be with you as long as it takes to ensure we are all happy with everything we’ve captured together.
Engagement Session
Every wedding package includes a full engagement session. This tends to be something that most people think “But we just had those done!” or “Oh we don’t need those, we just want wedding photos!”. Well, the reason I include them is not just so you can get even more amazing pictures together - though that’s a great bonus - it’s so we can get to know each other and what to expect during your wedding. A lot of people tend to be extremely apprehensive when it comes to photo shoots. They wonder what to do or how to act. Will they need any special directions or coaching? What the engagement session is designed to do is answer all of these questions and more.
After we’ve spent some time together you’ll know exactly what to expect on your big day, and I hope to help you relax as much as possible when in front of the camera. Getting your pictures taken can be an intimidating experience, and it is my goal to ensure you are able to be yourselves as much as possible. This helps to capture the greatest, most genuine moments and memories.
Custom Album and Prints
What better way to share and relive your perfect day than with a custom made, premium photo album or high quality framed prints! In today’s digital age its becoming rarer and rarer that people are actually printing their images. With weddings and engagements, it is even less likely that couples will want to go out and print dozens of images. Let me work with you to design a stunning album which tells YOUR story! Together we can create a photo book that will last a lifetime.
Is there a particular image that you would love to hang on your wall? Great! I also offer custom, high quality prints up to 13”x19”! Lets take a minute to talk about prints. I’m sure you’ve had a picture in the past that looks absolutely amazing on your computer monitor, but when you decide to have it printed it looks nothing like what you see on your screen! There are several factors that can cause this. First, the colors on your monitor may not be 100% accurate. This often leads to prints appearing very “warm” or “cold”. Second, your screen is illuminated which makes everything appear brighter. However, when printed images can often appear much darker and “washed out” because they no longer have that extra illumination. Finally, and probably the most important, all printers and papers are unique. For the best results and highest quality prints, each image needs to be retouched to match the specifications of the paper and printer being used. This retouching is included with any print that I offer to ensure the highest quality possible!
