SESSION INFORMATION & WHAT TO EXPECT

YOUR SESSION:

Your studio sessions can extend up to 30 minutes past the scheduled shoot time to ensure both you and I are fully satisfied with the results. I ask that you keep this time available in the event the shoot runs long or needs to be extended. For shoots lasting longer than 30 minutes you are welcome to bring an additional outfit or look with you. This allows us to capture a variety of imagery for you to chose from and further expand upon your personal branding.

During your headshot session you will be able to view each image as it is captured. We will also take the time to review these images during the session to determine their viability for use in representing your personal brand. This will allow us to adjust the focus of the shoot if needed during the session to ensure the best possible outcome. My goal is to ensure you leave knowing exactly what we’ve captured and ensure each image has met your approval.

A password protected link to all approved images will be emailed to you within 24 hours of our session. This email will include all information on how to chose which images you would like to have processed. Feel free to share this link and password with anyone who might be able to help you decide upon which images you choose. If for any reason you feel the need to return in order to cover anything you feel we may have missed you can take advantage of our reduced rate for returning clients.

RETOUCHING & PRINTS:

Instructions for choosing your images for retouching will be emailed to you upon completion of our session. Retouching will be completed within 72 hours of receiving your final image decision(s). Additional high resolution images and RAW files are not released to clients unless you elect to purchase them for an addition fee of $60 per image (retouching included) or a session buy-out (see above for pricing, retouching not included). If you chose to buy-out a session any additional retouching is only $30 per image, or you are free to take the images to your retoucher of choice.

With each session you will receive one or more 8”x10” high quality prints. Prints will be ready for pickup within 24 hours of retouching completion. Shipping is not currently available.

Additional 8.5”x11” high quality prints can be purchased for $25 each, or 5 for $100.

13”x19” high quality prints are also available for $75 each. These prints will come with a 1/2” border to allow for custom matting and framing.

CLOTHING:

For sessions lasting longer than 30 minutes I encourage you to bring a range of clothing options. Don’t think seasonally! Everything from tank tops and t-shirts to sweaters and jackets can work. The only rule is you have to love it! If you don’t feel comfortable wearing it, you won’t shoot well in it. Have fun with this! If you feel your wardrobe is lacking then go shopping before our session and we’ll keep the tags on in case you’d like to return the items after the shoot!

I recommend bringing a variety of different necklaces and jewelry. Even if you have doubts whether something will work or not feel free to bring it along. However, I do try to keep jewelry to a minimum to ensure you remain the focus of each image. Small earrings and studs are welcome, but avoid anything hanging or bulky as it will usually draw too much attention away from you and your headshot.

MAKEUP:

Professional makeup is available for an additional charge of $70 for a studio session, or $150 for an on location session. The entirety of this fee goes to the makeup artist to cover their time and supplies. If makeup is desired please allow for an additional 30 minutes prior to the scheduled shoot, and will be subject to both mine and the artists availability.

SCHEDULING & PAYMENTS:

Sessions are currently scheduled on a client by client basis. I schedule in an addition 30 minutes of buffer time for each session in the event we need to run longer to ensure both you and I are fully satisfied with the resulting images.

A Deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking, with the remainder due on or before the date of the shoot.
